Store concept

Over one hundred and twenty PHILIPP PLEIN mono-brand stores are to be found worldwide from New York to Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Milan and Hong Kong to name just a few.  The first PHILIPP PLEIN boutique was inaugurated in 2009 in Monte Carlo, a contemporary and cosmopolitan showcase  for the sumptuous yet transgressive collection that the designer himself describes as “new luxury.” In 2011 began the collaboration with Milan’s Aquili Alberg architectural firm, and the aggressive expansion of PHILIPP PLEIN mono-brand stores worldwide. Bucking the trend of dark furnishings and materials, the boutiques were designed as oases of light and reflection, featuring oversize Murano chandeliers and the ever present  maxi crystal studded skull welcoming customers at the entrance. In 2013 Claudio Pironi & Partners came on board establishing a worldwide company standard for flagship and mono-brand stores,  where the pure and essential aesthetic of the brand is expressed through the combination of rich and distinctive materials, glossy and matte finishes, and contrasts of light and shade.

In 2016 an innovative store concept for the newly launched PLEIN SPORT line was inaugurated.  Realized in collaboration with Milan’s CLS Architectural  Studio, the retail space is transformed into a luxury gym complete with crocodile embossed punching bags, luxury gym equipment and  video floor,  and showcases the group’s nascent luxury activewear  line
