Florence, 16 January 2014 – Like a story of the old Far West, galloping across prairies, exploring forests, hunting for treasure, dancing and carrying on at the saloon. Playing cowboys and Indians in that ongoing adventure called childhood. In a world of boundless space, dramatic events and breakneck races, these are daydreams where little heroes get to experience grown up excitement.
Pure unbridled fun for cowboys and cowgirls in the new PHILIPP PLEIN Petite collection for Fall/Winter 2014/15. Boys are fearless and courageous, donning outfits with a cozy yet precise fit. Girls are chic and funloving, with slim and feminine fits that still retain their utility.
The faded jeans aged by prairie dust and wind are designed to be worn during every raid, topped by a leather jacket or perfecto. Plenty of leather, nappa and fur throughout the line, often with special vintage treatments, in addition to patent leather for the girls. Sparkling CRISTALLIZEDTM Swarovski Element applications are used throughout the entire collection, glittering like gold nuggets in the river. Plaques, pins and metal buttons are everywhere, alongside symbols of the Far West such as the sheriff’s badge, crossed six shooters , or the Native American inspired buffalo skull.
It is a Far West dedicated to contemporary, metropolitan children. The colors feature a range of winter hues from greys to blacks, glossy and opaque alike, with flashes of red and glimpses of cocoa. In the Tshirts, sweatshirts and dresses, prints are inspired by all time childhood favorites: wild horses, tartan patterns and rodeo style details like medallions, coins and chain pins, all with a dazzling pavè of CRISTALLIZEDTM Swarovski Elements.
Accessories complete the Wild West theme, with boots, satchels, rucksacks, gloves, scarves and hats ready to hit the trail.
