Philipp Plein opens in London

Designer Philipp Plein is in the midst of an unprecedented retail expansion, inaugurating new mono brand stores around the globe. The brand will celebrate the opening of the London New Bond Street flagship on December 15th, 2016.

Developed on four floors, the impressive 420 square meter store sums up all of the characteristics conceived for Philipp Plein’s new minimalist concept, adding an explosion of marble and lights. The store’s striking presence is apparent from the street, with a PP logo embellished façade featuring the signature giant skull studded in CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements.

Black marble contrasts with white in the combination of the men’s and women’s accessories area on the ground floor, where in the rear of the space a magnificent, solid black marble staircase lit up by a hexagonal skylight reveals itself, and exemplifies the boldness of this world class flagship store.

By descending the staircase one reaches the darkened domain of the men’s collections, where elements like black marble, iron and fumè mirrors create a bold, masculine environment. While the women’s and children’s area on the upper floor is light and bright featuring Murano glass chandeliers, polished white marble and golden brass.

Designed by the architectural firm Claudio Pironi and Partners, the new location rises up on Mayfair’s distinguished New Bond Street, London’s center luxury fashion. Philipp Plein says, I am so proud to open this important flagship in one of the world’s most luxurious and cosmopolitan cities.
