The mega lifestyle mansion dedicated exclusively to men opens at Corso Venezia 7/1 in Milan’s luxury shopping district, the inauguration event on 15 January featuring special guest Paris Hilton, artist Alec Monopoly, and a dramatic vertical catwalk performance on the façade of the building throughout the evening.
A many sided experience combining fashion, art and entertainment. A full immersion into the world of PHILIPP PLEIN, a personal projection of the designer’s ideas, tastes, dreams and lifestyle. A multi functional mansion/concept store that comprises PHILIPP PLEIN and PLEIN SPORT brands, Big Boy Toys including a vintage Lamborghini Miura, art exhibitions, the Air Force Plein Bar, and a secret agent style made to measure dressing room.
Elegant 1930’s Milanese palazzo – 680 square meters – three levels, designed by Italian architectural firm CLS.
Animated ledwall screens featuring catwalks and campaigns can be seen from the streets -no conventional display windows.
Iconic PHILIPP PLEIN components: metallic hexagons, jet black CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements studded maxi skull, black marble floor and staircase, minimalist furniture.
New elements: Raw concrete walls and pillars - cascade chandelier spilling over from the top floor, comprised of 30.000 suspended irregular Murano glass stones.
Ground floor: PHILIPP PLEIN accessories (shoes, leather goods, accessories), Big Boys Toys wall, portal to PLEIN SPORT section featuring running cyber mannequins and levitating sneakers in a luxury gym atmosphere.
First Floor: PHILIPP PLEIN main collection including the secret agent made to measure dressing room featuring black leather floors, silken walls, glossy wooden frames and a series of assault rifles suspended from the ceiling, according to the best spy movie tradition. Central Plein Garden terrace leading to the Air Force Plein Bar, where the cockpit crew serves champagne, cocktails and caviar in a private jet atmosphere: white rubber lacquer walls, black marble tables, porthole video screens.
Second floor: Denim and casual department featuring 1970’s original green Lamborghini Miura.
