PHILIPP PLEIN Opens in the Vienna International Airport, AUSTRIA

Lugano, July 10th 2014 – PHILIPP PLEIN is proud to announce the opening of its first duty-free boutique, located in the Vienna International airport. By the end of the year the brand will open other four duty-free shops in selected locations worldwide.

Designed and developed by Philipp Plein in conjunction with the Milanese architectural firm Studio Pironi, the store is a showcase of originality and sophistication. Covering an area of 130 square meters the store features sections dedicated to men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories. In keeping with the global architectural concept of all PHILIPP PLEIN mono-brand stores, the design is minimalist yet rich, thanks to the extensive use of precious materials like marble and lava stone and exquisite workmanship, all in blocks of white, black and grey, with glossy and matte finishes, and contrasting areas of light and shadow. The essential sparkling Murano glass chandeliers and the macro-skull studded with CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements symbolize PHILIPP PLEIN’s ironic and unconventional style.

ADDRESS:  Wien International Airport, A 1300 Wien-Flughafen 118/shop 313. The shop is situated at G level, in the Star Alliance non-Schengen pier.
